In WordPress, A website’s appearance and display interface are specified by using a set of templates and stylesheets is a Theme.

From the WordPress admin area under Appearance » Themes we can modify, manage, and add. There are several free and paid WordPress themes available. WordPress.org has an extensive collection of free themes in their Themes Directory.

Each one begins with a different design, layout, and features. A user needs to pick the one that suits their taste and specs for their website. Some theme design to assist specific sites, e.g., Photographers and photography websites will use Photography Themes.

We can modify by combining plugins or by adding code to the functions.php file. By using a Child Theme, we can make changes. Themes usually contain three parts beside images and JavaScript files. The three parts are the style.css file, the WordPress template files, and an optional functions.php file that allow changes in the themes. Every theme must have a single style.css file. Its help to customize the theme as per the requirements user has by adding custom CSS values in the style.css file. In template files needs to have an index.php file to control the display of content.
